Privacy Policy

This is a personal portfolio site. It has no accounts, no comments, and no shopping cart. It sets no advertising cookies, does no cross-site tracking, and sells nothing to anyone. The only optional data collection is anonymous page-view and performance measurement, which does not run unless you agree to it.

Analytics and performance. If you accept analytics, the site loads Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Analytics counts page views and referrers. Speed Insights measures real-world page performance such as loading, layout stability, and interaction responsiveness. Neither service is loaded unless you accept.

Your analytics choice. Your answer to the consent banner is stored in your own browser's local storage so the banner does not ask again. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Server logs. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard request logs that can include IP address, browser type, and access time. These are generated by the host for security and reliability, not by me, and I do not use them to identify visitors.

Email. There is no contact form on this site. If you email me, I have whatever you chose to put in that email, and I keep it only as long as needed to reply and to keep a normal record of the correspondence.

The site links out to GitHub. Once you follow a link off this site, that site's privacy policy applies, not this one.

You can change your analytics choice at any time, in either direction. Declining is honored immediately and nothing is loaded on later visits.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask what personal information I hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Given how little this site collects, that is usually just our email correspondence. Email me and I will handle it.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. There is no mailing list to notify, because there is no mailing list.
